About ISL 2025
Inter academy super league (ISL) is one of the many popular academy leagues in the country. Spread over 9 weeks, twice a year, it has the best youth football academies in UAE competing for the league championship.
ISL is approved by Dubai Sports Council and run by a professional team of ex-international players and academy owners. Being crowned a champion at ISL has become a glorious achievement for UAE youth football academies.

Soccer Italian Style UAE
Professional Playing Career:
Former footballer who played for Travancore Titanium FC, represented Kerala State team (1990), and helped Calicut University win the All- University Championship (1991).
Coaching Credentials:
Holds FA Level 1 and 2 coaching certifications, combining hands-on playing experience with formal coaching education.
Academy Founder:
Established CF Football Academy in 2008, starting with 18 children and growing it into a recognized youth development platform.
International Partnership:
Secured franchise partnership with Soccer Italian Style (2015) to provide international training exposure for young players.
Former India International
International Playing Career:
Former Indian national team defender with 17 caps, who competed in major tournaments including 1997 SAFF Cup (Champions), 1997 Nehru Cup, and Bangkok Asian Games across top clubs like Churchill Brothers, East Bengal, and Salgaocar SC.
UAE Education & Sports Leadership:
Nearly two decades of experience in UAE higher education managing Student Services and Engagement, with sports administration as a key area.
Coaching & Scouting Credentials:
Certified FA Level 2 coach, appointed Middle East representative of Association of Indian Football Coaches (AIFC), and official AIFF International Scout in the UAE.
Recognition & Academy Impact:
Recipient of prestigious ‘Kerkar Award’ (2003) – Goa’s highest state sports honor.

First Indian registered coach in the UAE FA Division League with 15 years in UAE football and education sectors
Proven Track Record in Player Development:
Facilitated international transfers for 12+ players to clubs across Europe, Asia, and Africa, including high-profile moves to Chicago Fire MLS, the Belgian Pro League, while serving as Head Coach at Al Hilal United FC (2019-2024).
Comprehensive Technical Expertise:
Holds AFC ‘C’ License and multiple specialized certifications including FA Talent Identification and British Council Premier Skills, with demonstrated proficiency in tactical planning.
